Thousands of new residents, hundreds of new homes, and dozens of new communities all add up to one thing: an ongoing need for schools and teachers.  Today, the Clark County School District ranks as the sixth-largest school district in the United States.  To keep pace, the district's building program provides approximately $3.5 billion to construct 88 new schools through 2008, while improving every area school already in existence.  These numbers are indicative of the commitment made to education by Southern Nevada politicians, voters, educators and the private sector.

Recently the Nevada Voters approved amending the Nevada State Constitution establishing school funding as a priority for all future state budgets.  This further demonstrates the commitment in our state to our children's education.

Once you have located one or more Las Vegas Real Estate addresses of interest, then you should click on the school bus icon below.  This will take you to the Clark County School District Zoning Information Site.  You then input an address (don't use the suffix st, rd, blvd, ave, and etc. just street name).

Next you will see a page that displays the available schools your address is zoned for. Pick the grade level you are interested in and the next page will give you specific information about that school.  Pay particular attention to "View the accountability report".  This will give a volume of information about the school you selected.  This may include highlights, goals and objectives, demographics, and parent / community involvement just to name a few.
